The Toren Hotel

Amsterdam is a great honeymoon destination and the hotel gates a romantic and charming original address.

It is in the most beautiful district of Amsterdam, the trendy, original and now very chic Jordan district, where there are many small shops, boutiques and cafes. Two minutes away is the Anne Frank House and the tramway ("Westkerk").

The gates, there are a lot of staff, and all, all, all are super friendly. From the receptionist to the bartender, the breakfast waiter up to the maid.

The entire hotel is typical amsterdam-gay-friendly and has more couples than audience, but certainly in the age mixed.

The whole house is very quiet and has a private garden out back where you can relax wonderfully.

Total us the sultry, slightly gothic-like design of the hotel very much. It is plush, baroque, gloomy. When Marilyn Manson and Madame Pompadour had set up together a Burlesques pleasure palace.

Thanks to our tripadvisor voucher we got 50% discount for breakfast and were greeted with chocolates and strawberries in the room and a glass of champagne in the bar.

The room: very small, but everything was there. Absolutely quiet and equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, which we enjoyed in the afternoon siesta very. The bathroom and shower were great. And the bedding is the most beautiful I've ever seen in a hotel. Well, I have a penchant for doing this, and I urge everyone to be the pattern in the linen upholstery time to look closely, that's really smart.
Only criticism: It's pretty bleak. Makeup or shave already been an art and despite illuminated mirror.
Late in the evening we like to sit at the bar and drank Prosecco and in the morning it was always nice to have breakfast in this prunkigen ambience.

The breakfast was good and had low agricultural typical stuff like Snelle Jelle, a delicious breakfast cake Pindakaas (peanut butter) or Pannekoeken (crepes). It would have also allowed alternate times something, but that's whining at a high level. We also full six days there were, the "normal" Amsterdam Tourist will probably only three. (But we have no gelagweilt day.) The cold chocolate is delicious and there is always fresh fruit

Ausflugstip than I want to mention two museums that are mentioned in the travel Führeren very briefly: the tattoo museum near the Tropical Institute is really very interesting and the handbag museum is a real dream girl. Furthermore, and that is really in any guide, you can do in the handbag museum in a beautiful coffee break and nibble small, colorful little luxuries of the etagere.

Oh yes: From the airport to the ski Pohl gates to get extremely comfortable with the airport shuttle bus. Starts off at 7, right in front of the arrival hall and goes to the front door. Tickets are available for it when Conexxion-switch, which is just to the right when you come out of the security zone. If you buy directly a return ticket is a lot cheaper. Ask the hotel for three hours before departure to call there, so it will be collected.

We felt very comfortable in the gates and found: it was a real hotel experience.

"Great location"

The outside features a very quiet location on the Kaizergracht and is still absolutely central. The rooms and the rest of the device are very chaotic, because everything is held in very dark colors. Room size and facilities comply with the usual city hotel level. The bar and the associated breakfast area are safe, the highlight of this hotel, the site of the hotel reflects this very accurately. All in all for a stay in Amsterdam a very good choice.

"A warm and elegant"

The reception was very welcoming and courteous. The room was indeed repeatedly described as "very small" set, but then as a self-sufficient for a few nights for 1 person represents The night was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was elegant. Overall, everything was also a very clean impression. Even the Nespresso machine was perfectly clean and the air conditioning was working fine (somewhere else I ever smelled a musty smell from the air conditioning, but here everything was OK).

The breakfast was also very good. The choice corresponded to the higher standard and special requests with the drinks were immediately met.

As the hotel is easily accessible even on foot from Amsterdam Centraal is, from there I was able to visit all the dates was correspondingly easy erreichen.Auch the way from the airport to the hotel easily. It was also explained to me the same when checking in, where I would find in the vicinity of the hotel which attractions, shopping centers, etc..

Overall I am very pleased and have already made another booking.

We have a business meeting next month in Italy and all I need now is a hotel to accommodate. This Hotel Amsterdam I think is enough for me because according to this review, it has a nice room that surely I can relax when I want to rest. Thanks for sharing also this blog for giving me an idea for this.
